Magi Loucks is an actor, singer, writer, and comedic improvisor who ‘moves well.’ She has performed on every type of stage, TV, and film set there is, except porn. Described by Backstage West as "the killer singing voice," Loucks performs live and in studio, singing everything from standards to pop to folk songs, working with orchestras, bands, or a single accompanist.

International theatre credits include Peg, the boxer, in the European Premiere of Fighting Words, a performance the Los Angeles Times called “uniformly mesmerizing... Loucks is a mobile made out of tensile wire, fixed in place but spinning with compressed energy.” Theatre in Wales (UK) wrote, “Loucks handles the emotional handbrake turns with the sucker-punch of a pugilist.”

Loucks has improvised on dozens of variety programs (Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, etc.) as a rehearsal actor and singer, pairing her in comedy sketches with the likes of Carol Burnett, Ben Stiller, Jane Lynch, Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, and Justin Timberlake, and improv-hosting shows like the Golden Globe Awards, Dancing With the Stars, and Parental Discretion. She has also worked as an improviser in the development of new series, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! and @midnight.

Loucks writes and stars in her multi-character solo play, F is for Cancer, is a founding member of Les Ms!, an all-women’s long-form musical improv team, and is in the Second City revue, Be True to Thy Selfie.  Classically trained, with BAs in both Theatre and English literature, Loucks is a graduate of The Second City Hollywood, iO West, and UCB.
