Melania Wears ‘I Heart White Babies’ Jacket To Harlem

Trump & Melania

NEW YORK – – First Lady Melania Trump wore a jacket with the words “I Heart White Babies” while she boarded a plane to visit Cayuga Centers, a social service agency in Harlem. The center is one of many agencies that have a contract with the federal government to take in unaccompanied minors, and recently became the focus of attention when New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio blasted the secretive movement of migrant children from Texas to New York City without his knowledge.

“How is the federal government holding back that information from the people of this city and holding back the help these kids could need?”

Mr. de Blasio added the federal government could not tell them now many children had been transported to NYC. “Who are these children? How many are they? Where are they? What is happening here?”

The jacket — a John Galliano design sold for $55 online, but currently sold out — was confirmed by FLOTUS spokesperson Stephanie Grisham. “There was no hidden message. The writing wasn’t on the lining, it was directly on the back. I don’t understand the confusion.” Grisham later took to twitter, adding, “If politicians and the media would spend their time & energy on her actions & efforts to help kids – rather than speculate on her wardrobe and where kids are being hidden – we could get so much accomplished on behalf of white children. #ItsJustAJacket”

The First Lady is no stranger to having her wardrobe examined critically. In August, 2017, she was the recipient of harsh criticism for wearing designer Manolo high heels to visit Texas after the natural disaster Hurricane Harvey.

Donald Trump tweeted about the backlash, writing, “‘Melania’s jacket shows how compassionate she is – she loves babies! Fake news by fake media. UNFAIR!”
